back in Whitehorse,Yukon Territory

pretty uneventful day today...just covering ground mostly.Left Dawson City late morning after cleanig the mud off the bikes and our riding gear,pressuring tires,adjusting chains et....Don't think the riding gear will ever look the same but it still works. Arrived in Whitehorse about 10:00PM.and holed up in Best Western.Most of the road today was paved.Only about 10 mi. of gravel,decent traction but really dusty,kept us very stretched out to avoid eating too much of the dust kicked up by the guy in front of you.Temperature today low 70's...got hot in fullgear,especially if we stopped.Same old inspiring terrain.Saw a sign that said "scenic view ahead"I thought that was funny since we have not seen a view that was not scenic since we crossed into Canada over 3 weeks ago except maybe for Smoke.Beaver had another flat today.Apparently same hole as yesterday,the repair failed.He fixed it again and was able to continue but can't trust the repair so will have it fixed by a tire shop in the morning.We head for Watson Lake tomorrow then south down the Alcan...boog
