Off to our left we are paralleling a mountain range probably 40 miles away.Between us and the range is a big, nasty thunderstorm.We watch it and it moves along with us,but we are a little faster.and slowly it is behind us.Great,dodged another bullet,then the road takes a left turn and we head straight into the storm.The temperature drops from 96 to 58 over a distance of a few miles and it rains hard.We are now on the twisty road but in the storm we can't can't really enjoy the curves.Rain finally stops,heat returns and we dry quickly.Unevenful ride rest of the way into Ft Collins,find the truck and get loaded up.Pawndog ,ever the showoff ,decides to ride his bike up the ramp to the trailer,but about 1/2 way up changes his mind and dumps his bike,no significant damage,but we do give him lots of grief.From this point on We are trucking east,droning along with mixed emotions.Sad that trip is over,excited at the prospect of being home.5 weeks is a long time to be gone...miss friends and family.....boog
