Watson Lake to Ft Nelson

Fantastic day! Awakened early to bright blue skies .As we leave Watson Lake we pass by the sign forest again...unique place,hundreds of posts in the ground planted by the city on municipal ground.Travelers coming through hang up their sign which can say anything but usually where they are from and date.We explored for quite some time the night before and found numerus signs from Tenn.Took pix of same.We should have thought to bring our own sign.Maybe next time(and there will be)...First morning stop at Sally's Cafe just out of Watson.This seems to be obligatory for any biker passing through.Sally has a log book and bikers sign in with date,bike,origin,and pertinent comments.We read thru some of the log and of course posted up to record our passage through there for posterity.Headed south-east down the Alcan Highway.This in my opinion, was our best day ever,beatiful weather(maybe even a little too warm) nice road(smooth,no gravel) with even a few curves although nobody real interested in corner scratching.Scenery was striking.Amazing that the beauty of this place goes on and on and on.
