Well, it's over. The trip of my lifetime. I would not take anything for the time I spent on this trip renewing my friendships with Boog and Blood and making what I feel is a lifelong friendship with Smoke. We are four of a kind. Every night when all six of us would get settled in after a day of riding, we talked about that day and about everything imaginaeable including past times together riding enduros. We smoked cigars and drank beer making some fun times that I will always remember. I feel like Boog, Smoke, and Blood are my brothers. I was wowed by every landscape, every cultural change, everyone we met along the way. Our 4th of July dinner with Beaver's Anchorage "friends" was a welcome addition to our trip.
They were very nice people who showed us some special treatment.
I agree with Boog that a trip like this would be hard to top, and being away from family and friends was the hard part, but I would do it again. I enjoyed every minute of every day, regardless of the weather, the road, the temperatures, everything. I want Boog to know that on this 10,000 mile enduro he proved that "Suzy Barr" couldn't hold a candle to him and she should no longer be a burr under his saddle. Thanks to all the guys on this trip for the plannings, the friendships, the commaraderie, for everything. I am posting some of my favorite pics separately from this post. Hope you like them -PawnDog

I'm glad you had a great trip. Indeed, the trip of a life time. I'm glad I removed your worries about the business and told you that if you didn't go it would come back to be the biggest regret of your life. The latter is obviously something I'm sure you are glad you'll never have to tell yourself.

I did miss you, so much at times I was more bothered than I would ever let on, but I didn't want you to know that, you needed to be having a good time, not worrying about me.

This trip won't just be for the rest of the groups lives, it will be remembered long after this.

Year 2093:
"Great Great Grandpa Bacel rode some kinda thing called a motorcycle, some thing like those cars you read about in history class but only it had two wheels, he rode that thing 10,000 miles!"

The point of this wordy post is this:
In short, the crew has done something only others can only dream about. Vicariously they, like myself, traveled with you and only wished they were wiping dust from their visors and seeing bears crossing the road. Feel extremely fortunate that you had this opportunity along with supportive family members letting you live out your dreams. How many wivesand girlfriends would let their husbands and boyfriends leave for so long? The stars were aligned for all of you, and I'm so glad you took this opportunity.

To the rest of you that read this, remember, hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20. Also, your hindsight of "could have" will probably always stay the same. Enjoy your life and what it has to offer and take every opportunity you can to live out what you've always wanted to do.

All of these riders are solid proof of this.

Best,
Ryan
