Range on the BMW GS 220-230 max with milage numbers 45-50...about the same on the 1000cc V-strom.The 650 V-strom gets better milage 55-60 mpg and has a larger tank than GS's so range near 300 mi.
We are six friends set out on mission to get from Oak Ridge, TN to the Top of the World Highway(The Arctic Circle) on our motorcycles. Anchor is short for Anchorage, so wish us luck!

Terrific shots guys...I only know one of you, but I'm very proud of all of you! What an adventure...almost seems like I was along for the ride.
Do you know what your average gas mileage was and how far can the average bike (like those) go on a tank?
