more from Dawson City

I'm back...was sitting in place next door mooching wi-fi and battery pooped out.Had to go recharge.Anyway it is 10:00 PM here, need to go to bed to get up bright and early.Plan to roll wheels at 7:30.Tough getting to sleep at this hour with bright sun streaming in windows.Only get 3 hours or so of twilight darkness this far north, rest of time broad daylight.Kinda' fouls up our diurnal clock. Kenny has turned out to be the groups "arteest".Some of his photos are breathtaking. We will for sure get some of these posted.Every night we download everyones photos into the laptop just to see them on a bigger screen. After tonights download we have over 3000(yes thousand) pix. This place will do that to you.Temperatures since we crossed into canada have been mostly 50's-60's.Gets a little brisk after you've ridden awhile. Most everyday we ride with the quilted liners in place and frequently with heated vests turned on.Heated handlebar grips are a wonderful invention.Yes Mongo(Mitch) is much more comfy on his new GS.He had groups first flat today.got a nail right here in Dawson, got it fixed,no problem.Yes, T-bone.The mountain sheep are cute, but will not lie for you.....boog
