tire saga...
This morning in Whitehorse ,Mongo and Beaver stayed behind to get Beaves rear tire properly repaired while the other 4 of us slogged off down the road. They went to every bike shop in town(the shops actually are not much into bikes, more atv's and snowmobiles) and none would repair his tire because of "liability concerns" .Must be a lot of hungry lawyers to feed here in Canada like in US.They started making the rounds of the automotive repair shops and finally found one willing to repair the tire,BUT, they did not have the tools to remove the tire from a bike wheel. Not to be deterred,Beave takes his bike back to the bike shop, talks them into demounting the tire, takes the tire to the automotive repair shop, gets the patch job, takes the fixed tire back to the bike shop and they remount it.And these shananigans only cost him $100 . Sheesh! Guess there are a lot of hungry bike mechanics here too...boog

Boog and Pawn Dog - Congratulations on the photo posts! You did a great job and the photos are beautiful. BTW - I like the descriptions, too. Sounds just like Boog!
Thanks for lunch Dr.
It's not like you all were the first bikes to come through the area...you'd think someone would have taken better advantage of the market by now.
